1.- The love
The Bible teaches us that God loves us so much that he couldn't bear the idea to live away from us.
That's the reason why he sent the most valuable for him: His only son, Jesus Christ.
"I have loved you with everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." Jeremiah 31:3
2.- Recognize my sins
The human being is by nature a sinner. We sin day by day, because we like it. But the nature of God is holy and there is no way that in such a sin-situation, we become worthy to meet Him.
"There is no one righteous, not even one;" Romans 3:10
3.- Christ as Savior
But, why had Jesus to die? Because the price of sin is death. Now we understand that God sent Jesus TO PAY FOR OUR SINS. His blood can wash all our sins away. And 'without' sins we can come again to God.
"Jesus answered: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."" John 14:6
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
4.- Repentance
The Resurrection of Jesus was the prove that he has the power over death and sin. Now the bridge between Men and God has been built. The only thing that we have to do now is to cross it. We have to accept him as our savior and Lord to receive the wonderful gift of salvation. And by accepting Him, we are deciding to live our lifes with Him until the end.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." Revelation 3:20
